Zulum Approves Posting of New Permanent Secretary, finance
Borno State Governor, Professor Zulum has approved the posting of Maryam Y. Shehu as the new Permanent Secretary in the state’s Ministry of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning. Borno’s Head of Service, Barister Simon Malgwi announced the posting on Tuesday night after a meeting with Governor Zulum at the government house in Maiduguri. Maryam Y. Shehu is to fill the vacuum created by the retirement of Engineer Emat Mohammed Kois, who was PermSec, Finance. Until her new posting, Maryam Y. Shehu was the Permanent Secretary in charge of pensions at the office of the head of service which she will continue to oversee, pending the appointment of a substantive permanent secretary for the pensions department.
