ORAN Elects New Executives, Sets Agenda For The Year 2022
Online Reporters Association of Nigeria, ORAN on Thursday 13th of Jan. 2022 held an extra-ordinary meeting at Excellence Hotel, Ogba Lagos where new principal officers of the media association was elected and inaugurated.
Shehu Tijani Adegbola retained his position as the president, with Mr Emmanuel Chukwumah as his vice.
Arthur Igbolaju Richard emerged as the secretary, while Titi Oshunlalu will serve as his assistant.
Alfred Abiodun emerged as the P.R.O, with Mr Ifeanyi Obodo as his assistant.
Other elected executive members are, Abiodun Adisa as Treasurer,
Quadri Olowolagba as Welfare Officer. Funsho Akinwale as financial Secretary.
Members also used the opportunity to evaluate activities of the association for the year past, and also set new agenda for the new year 2022.
In his speech, ORAN president, Mr Shehu Tijani Adegbola stated that in this new era of his leadership of the association, he will be more committed to taking the media association to an enviable heights by making sure that the welfare of members are of greater priority. He also promised to carry all members along in all activities.
He equally praised members for the matured approach at which the crisis that hit the association was resolved.
Mr Shehu Tijani Adegbola also took out time to appreciate ORAN patron and publisher of City People Magazine, Mr Seye Kehinde and Publisher of Global News Magazine, Mr Segun Ogunbunmi for their swift intervention by bringing all agrieved members together to resolved all grievances, where it was agreed that the newly amended ORAN constitution be adopted to help move the association forward.
He thanked all ORAN partners and corporate organizations for their contiued support and patronage, he promise that ORAN will continue to reciprocate as a media association.
ORAN recently held her two years anniversary at the Ball Room of the City People Magazine, Gbagada Lagos.
